Yesterday, incredibly tragic news came out of Coral Gables, Miami. Senior Miami defensive end Brian Pata was shot and killed in a presumed homicide. Awful, just awful news. So, I watched the 11 p.m. Pacific SportsCenter and Neil Everett leads off with this.Brian Pata was shot in the head.
And, now he's dead.
You stay classy, Neil Everett. Seriously, couldn't he come up with something that didn't rhyme and was maybe a bit more, uh, respectful?

You're misinterpreting what was actually a very apt and solemn gesture.
Neil Everett was doing a "rap" which is very popular with the African-American youth. He should be commended for reaching out to them in a language they understand.
